Small-load delivery
Contractor Delivery — Keep Your Crew Working
Keep your crew working. We'll handle the delivery. Small Load Co. runs the material trips that would otherwise pull people off the job.
- Supplier pickups and will-call collections.
- Small aggregate loads and eligible building materials.
- Jobsites across Fredericton, Oromocto, Nackawic and area.

The real cost of a material run
An hour of crew time, fuel, wear on a truck and a stalled sequence of work — all for one bundle of material. Contracting out the run is usually cheaper than absorbing it.
Common contractor use cases
- Forgotten or short-supplied materials
- Small aggregate loads for base, backfill and drainage
- Supplier pickups and will-call orders
- Emergency material runs
- Jobsite material delivery
- Building material delivery: lumber, drywall, roofing, decking, fencing
- Landscaping materials
- Material transfers between locations where appropriate
How it works
- Tell us what you need delivered, roughly how much, and where it's going.
- We confirm the material is eligible for a small load and quote the delivery.
- You purchase or order the material, or we coordinate the pickup on your behalf where that applies.
- We pick the material up from the supplier or yard.
- We deliver and place it where you've asked, within safe access limits.
What we don't promise
We don't advertise same-day service or guaranteed delivery windows. Quotes usually come back within a couple of business days, and once you confirm we get you onto the schedule as soon as possible.

Frequently asked questions
- What counts as a small load?
- A small load is anything under 4 tons. In practice that covers most residential and small-jobsite orders: a few cubic yards of bulk material, or a manageable stack of eligible building materials. Because weight is the limit, dense materials such as wet gravel or sand reach 4 tons in fewer yards than light materials such as mulch.
- Do you remove junk or haul away debris?
- No. Small Load Co. is a delivery service, not a junk removal company. We bring materials to your property or jobsite.
- Do I have to be home for the delivery?
- You don't need to be home for the delivery. In most cases we just need clear instructions on where the material should go and safe access to that spot.
- How do I get a price?
- Send us the material, approximate quantity, pickup source if known, and the delivery address. Quotes usually come back within a couple of business days, and confirmed deliveries go onto the schedule as soon as possible.
