Frequently asked questions
- What is a cubic yard?
- A cubic yard is 27 cubic feet — a cube three feet wide, three feet long and three feet deep. It's the standard unit for bulk material.
- What counts as a small load?
- A small load is anything under 4 tons. In practice that covers most residential and small-jobsite orders: a few cubic yards of bulk material, or a manageable stack of eligible building materials. Because weight is the limit, dense materials such as wet gravel or sand reach 4 tons in fewer yards than light materials such as mulch.
- Do you remove junk or haul away debris?
