Frequently asked questions
- What counts as a small load?
- A small load is anything under 4 tons. In practice that covers most residential and small-jobsite orders: a few cubic yards of bulk material, or a manageable stack of eligible building materials. Because weight is the limit, dense materials such as wet gravel or sand reach 4 tons in fewer yards than light materials such as mulch.
- Do you remove junk or haul away debris?
- No. Small Load Co. is a delivery service, not a junk removal company. We bring materials to your property or jobsite.
- Do I have to be home for the delivery?
- You don't need to be home for the delivery. In most cases we just need clear instructions on where the material should go and safe access to that spot.
- How do I get a price?
- Send us the material, approximate quantity, pickup source if known, and the delivery address. Quotes usually come back within a couple of business days, and confirmed deliveries go onto the schedule as soon as possible.
- Do you deliver outside Fredericton?
- Yes — we serve Oromocto, Nackawic and surrounding Central New Brunswick communities. See the areas we serve for the current list.
- Can you pick up an order I've already paid for?
- That's one of our core services. Send the supplier, order number and delivery address and we'll quote the pickup and delivery.
- Are you affiliated with the suppliers listed on this site?
- No. Small Load Co. is an independent delivery service. Supplier pages explain how pickup works, not a partnership.
- What are your hours?
- We don't keep storefront hours — Small Load Co. is a delivery operation. Call (506) 497-6606 or email info@smallload.ca any time and we'll get back to you, usually within a couple of business days.
- How much does delivery cost?
- Pricing depends on material, quantity, distance and access. Pricing is quote-based, calculated from the material, the quantity and the distance to the delivery address. A published rate sheet is coming. Send your details for a quote.
