Frequently asked questions

What counts as a small load?
A small load is anything under 4 tons. In practice that covers most residential and small-jobsite orders: a few cubic yards of bulk material, or a manageable stack of eligible building materials. Because weight is the limit, dense materials such as wet gravel or sand reach 4 tons in fewer yards than light materials such as mulch.
Do you remove junk or haul away debris?
No. Small Load Co. is a delivery service, not a junk removal company. We bring materials to your property or jobsite.
Do I have to be home for the delivery?
You don't need to be home for the delivery. In most cases we just need clear instructions on where the material should go and safe access to that spot.
How do I get a price?
Send us the material, approximate quantity, pickup source if known, and the delivery address. Quotes usually come back within a couple of business days, and confirmed deliveries go onto the schedule as soon as possible.
Do you deliver outside Fredericton?
Yes — we serve Oromocto, Nackawic and surrounding Central New Brunswick communities. See the areas we serve for the current list.
Can you pick up an order I've already paid for?
That's one of our core services. Send the supplier, order number and delivery address and we'll quote the pickup and delivery.
Are you affiliated with the suppliers listed on this site?
No. Small Load Co. is an independent delivery service. Supplier pages explain how pickup works, not a partnership.
What are your hours?
We don't keep storefront hours — Small Load Co. is a delivery operation. Call (506) 497-6606 or email info@smallload.ca any time and we'll get back to you, usually within a couple of business days.
How much does delivery cost?
Pricing depends on material, quantity, distance and access. Pricing is quote-based, calculated from the material, the quantity and the distance to the delivery address. A published rate sheet is coming. Send your details for a quote.
